Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Power BI Consultant to join our Engineering department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, and visualization using Power BI. As a Power BI Consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, design and develop Power BI solutions, and provide expertise in data modeling and visualization best practices.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILL SET

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with expert skills in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong proficiency in Power Query M language and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • Experience in data modeling and designing efficient data schemas for Power BI solutions.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
  • Power BI certification(s) preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data modelling, report creation, and dashboard development, based on client requirements
  • Mandatory: Ability to embed Power BI dashboards into applications (Power BI Embedded)
  • Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and understand data needs.
  • Implement data transformations and ETL processes to prepare data for analysis and visualization.
  • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients in deploying and managing Power BI solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data connections, and performance.
