Description:
Come and join our dedicated and friendly team at the Devonshire Centre for Neurorehabilitation.
We are looking for caring, compassionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated Registered Nurses ready to help us to provide high quality care and excellent patient experience.
We are a 15 beds unit, male and female, based half a mile off site from Stepping Hill Hospital.
We are a specialized unit that provides care and treatment to patients with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and some other neurological conditions.
As a Registered Nurse you will be working very closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure rehabilitation is ongoing to help patients adjust and be as independent as possible after a life changing event.
The neurorehabilitation Registered Nurse role is key within our patients’ rehabilitation treatment. You will be planning individualized care plans to support and improve patients’ independency.

This exciting opportunity will be permanent and involves rotation onto days and nights.
We provide specific training for neurorehabilitation specialty.

The post holder will be expected to work within our dedicated multidisciplinary team and be fully involved in an individuals’ care from admission to discharge, maintaining and improving current standards and supporting the team in meeting the required targets both at local and national level.
The post holder should have an attitude based on strong nursing values and an overall commitment to provide patients and their families with care that is first and foremost based on a culture of compassion, professionalism and respect.
