Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

The Local Statutory Reporting (LSR) team is responsible for the preparation of the local statutory financial statements of over 160 of the SAP subsidiaries, worldwide. LSR is part of the Local Accounting and Reporting (LAR) organization which is responsible for the management of the accounting and financial reporting of SAP’s subsidiaries. The LAR organization is part of SAP’s Corporate Financial Reporting department under the leadership of SAP’s Chief Accounting Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare IFRS and/ or local GAAP financial statements and notes, management reports and other related documents required for local statutory reporting. • Identify, calculate and post all necessary GAAP or timing adjustments to obtain the local statutory trial balance. • Manage the external audit of the statutory financial statements. • Focus on automation and standardisation when preparing the financial statements for SAP’s subsidiaries.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified accountant with at least 2 to 5 years of accounting experience - experience in the preparation and/or audit of statutory financial statements is a plus. • Strong knowledge of IFRS or any other local GAAP. • Very good English language skills, additional languages is a plus. • Excellent in MS Excel, knowledge of SAP ERP is a plus.
