onsemi is seeking a self-driven, motivated and enthusiastic senior professional to join the European OEM Business Development team based in Munich, Germany. As Strategic OEM business development manager, the candidate will be responsible for managing an OEM account to help position onsemi for leadership in focused automotive applications by leveraging product knowledge, application expertise, business development, strong customer relationships and internal cross-functional collaboration with European OEMs and eco-system partners.

  • Master’s degree, preferably Business Administration/Engineering.
  • Significant work experience in OEM business development.
  • Minimum 10 years’ of Automotive Semiconductor industry related experience.
  • Willing to travel up to 30%.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project teams to achieve targets and increase OEM penetration.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the activity related to business development within the assigned Automotive OEMs.
  • Achieve onsemi design-wins on focus products in target applications by positioning our value proposition at the OEMs via design / specification influence or directed buys by OEMs to Tier 1s.
  • Possess existing relationships with the key executives and engineering leads at the specified OEMs.
  • Support to formulate, initiate & implement the business strategy and engagement plan to influence the sales and BU teams achieve the profitable revenue growth.
  • Implement platform & solution selling at the specified OEMs. Work together with BU and Sales team to support and manage customers design cycle from prototyping to mass production.
  • Developing relevant executive relationship with customer’s R&D and purchasing management, implement strategic initiatives and driving application discussions with relevant teams inside the organization.
  • Contribute towards driving company’s success and achieving vision in intelligent power and intelligent sensing.
  • Foster strong team culture based on accountability, execution of strategic targets and team-work.
