Description:
Are you passionate about turning raw data into clear insights, and do you want to contribute to strategic business cases in a global company? Then you might be our new Student Portfolio Analyst!
At GN, we are dedicated to creating impactful, innovative solutions, and we’re looking for a student to join our Strategy & Management Office team. This is your chance to play a role in early-stage project development and in the later phases to ensure benefits are derived.
The Team you will be part of
As a Student Portfolio Analyst, you’ll be part of our team, focused on supporting strategic execution through robust business case preparation and follow up. Based at our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, you’ll report to the Head of Strategy and PMO, working closely with both local and global colleagues across departments.
In this role, you will support our strategic decision-making by extracting and evaluating data as input to quantifying costs and benefits for projects. You will help bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights, all while developing real-world skills in a dynamic environment.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Assist in developing and following up on business cases by extracting, analyzing, and structuring data
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and access key information
- Support the analysis of costs, benefits, and risks associated with various projects
- Contribute to prioritizing projects within the portfolio based on strategic goals and expected returns
- Present findings in a clear, data-driven manner to help drive informed decisions
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you
- You are currently pursuing a higher education degree, ideally within supply chain, finance, business intelligence or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and a natural ability to work with data, combined with an eye for detail
- Good communication skills—you can simplify complex data for different stakeholders
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others
- Proficient in Excel and Power BI, and ideally SQL, DAX and Python
We encourage you to apply
Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we gladly receive your application if you think you have transferrable skills. We highly value the right mindset; motivation and energy and we believe that the right personal competencies are highly important for creating success.
We are dedicated to an inclusive recruitment process and all applicants will receive equal consideration for employment.
