ABOUT THE ROLE
Join Imperial College London as a Student Recruitment Events Assistant! We are seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic and customer-focused professional to join a small agile team responsible for delivering central student recruitment events at Imperial.
Be part of supportive team responsible for attracting the brightest science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students from the UK and internationally, to a London-based university that’s currently ranked second globally by QS.
You will play a key role in enabling Imperial to meet our student recruitment goals through administration, support and co-ordination of a range of online and in-person events including campus tours, school visits, webinars, and Open Days.
WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
Reporting to the Student Recruitment Events Manager, you will manage the smooth administration and co-ordination of the programme of events for prospective students and their families and influencers. You will arrange the logistics for events, set-up online sessions, liaise with event contributors and respond to enquiries. You will have key responsibility for organising regular campus tours and school visits, co-ordinating student ambassadors, maintaining storage areas, and managing the Events team inboxes.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the logistical arrangements of in-person and virtual events including Imperial’s Open Days, visit days, webinars and taster lectures
- Responding to enquiries from students, parents and teachers in the general email inboxes
- Setting-up and co-ordinating virtual events across all platforms used to run events
- Organising regular campus tours, including managing the booking form, setting off the tours, and answering questions from visitors
