Department of Psychology
Position Summary:
- Responsible for producing illustrations for the purpose of science translation. This includes creating images suitable for scientific publications, textbooks, and scientific presentations.
- Responsible for producing 40 – 60 images in collaboration with the lab.
- Weekly meetings to design and plan the figures and the technical illustrations.
- Provide drawings and figures for course material/knowledge transfer, for a textbook on sensation and perception.
- Assist students make figures for their scientific articles on physical exercise, video games, chess playing, music and fibromyalgia.
Qualifications:
- This position requires knowledge of the topic and examination of material present in other textbooks or the internet to get inspiration or ideas for generating the figures.

- Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 on a scale of 0-4.
Experience and education: Student in Psychology with a knowledge of the Perception curriculum.
Location: This position is located in Montreal, Quebec and the work for this position is expected to be performed in Quebec.
