Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a key area of the University an area crucial to the successful delivery of key institutional objectives and will see you involved in a range of rewarding activities and developments.
In this role, you will be providing information, advice and guidance on the administration of the student record within a digital context. This will include troubleshooting and solving problems that arise in relation to maintaining student records within our systems; and playing a key role in maintaining excellent data quality essential to delivering a first-rate student experience.
You will be building strong relationships with colleagues based in central teams / offices, and in Schools and Faculties; giving advice on the application of relevant policies and procedures, focusing on such activities with regards student records and systems. You will also undertake the administration of a range of tasks associated with the setup, management and processing of students’ records, guiding colleagues to ensure that we maintain a high level of data quality within our systems. You will appreciate that, in an environment where the student experience is inherently digital, such work with the student record is extremely important.
You should have strong problem-solving skills, be happy to thrive in a fast-paced and often changing environment, be comfortable with and adaptable to a range of systems, and have some knowledge and experience of student records (or comparable) administration (including some knowledge of the application of related policies and procedures, preferably in a higher education environment). Also, you should have excellent communication skills (oral and written), demonstrating an ability to deal with a wide range of people.
