Responsible for maintaining the equipment in good conditions to produce. Supervise and coordinate the activities of preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as the maintenance personnel under its supervision, according to safety standards and established procedures. Coordinates and follows up improvement projects and repairs of machines. Ensures that their work team carries out the activities within the company’s safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for compliance of the program of preventive maintenance, by assigning the work orders and reviewing/approving their compliance.
  • Responsible for assigning and meet on daily basis with changes in set-up required by production.
  • Responsible for the corrective maintenance and changes made to equipment and meet with the
  • specifications, strengthen safety standards and proper use of safety equipment.
  • Responsible for the existence in spares warehouse and necessary parts to maintain the equipment working and avoid stops in production.
  • Responsible to provide the training of the personnel under his supervision.
  • Responsible to keep track of the maintenance metrics: Down time, Overtime, Expense Reports.
  • To comply with established policies and procedures.
  • To give support to engineering, validation and quality departments.
  • Leads projects of machine improvement in the area.
  • Contribute to achieving the goals of the Business Unit, Product quality and continuous improvement.
  • Keep maintenance costs within budget.
  • Provides and controls the manual tools, supplies and cleaning materials and repairs required by their personnel to do the work.
  • Responsible for implementing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate or reduce the problems of machines and down times.
  • Responsible for maintaining the machine tools (Tooling) in good condition and initiate repair actions.
  • Generates weekly reports of down time per machine and causes, roots and solution.
  • Responsible for performing quarterly audits of preventive maintenance to ensure adherence to applicable maintenance programs.
  • Make sure that their Mechanics and Sr. Mechanics make proper use of Personal Protective
  • Equipment (PPE) as they follow the guidelines of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) established by Safety and Hygiene (EH&S).

Education and Experience:
Industrial Mechanic Engineer, Electro mechanic or Electronics preferably.
3 years of experience as Maintenance Supervisor preferably.
Computation and measurement instruments.
3 years of experience as Equipment Maintenance Leader preferably.
Manage of PLC and Programming.
Language Skills
