Description:

Are you passionate about driving customer success and sales growth? We are looking for an experienced Support Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for to driving and closing Microsoft Support contract opportunities to ensure customers are supported throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, improving their health and enabling customer outcomes and consumption. The Support Specialist leverages Microsoft’s unique expertise to help customers use their Microsoft investments as productively as possible. You will be managing customer interactions, driving sales of support services, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with various departments to deliver world-class support solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • Several years of technology-related sales (ideally services sales) AND account management experience

AND Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent experience.

  • Extensive experience with selling technology-related support services with an emphasis on cloud-based solutions to large enterprise accounts and exceeding sales targets. Developing demand and pipe by fostering C-level relationships, assessing strategic customer objectives, digital transformation opportunity discovery, key improvement scenarios and an ability to measure and present incremental and new economic value from solutions proposed.
  • Full proficiency in German (Level C1 or higher) AND English (both written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leading/orchestrating sales processes across account planning, opportunity planning, deal negotiation, customer decision frameworks, evaluation plans and engaging in sophisticated business case discussions.
  • Disciplined operator with demonstrated accuracy in forecasting business and maintaining pipeline hygiene.
  • Strong track record, history of carrying and exceeding an enterprise account sales quota.
  • Broad understanding of commercial cloud offerings, ideally including Microsoft’s cloud platform, including competitors and related ecosystems.
  • Desired Skills:

  • Strong presentation, white-boarding, and communication.
  • Passion and commitment for Sales and Customer Success.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
  • Problem-solver, ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

The salary for this role is starting from 90,400 euros per annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand customer’s needs, technical strategy and compete landscape to map customer’s support contract to desired state and expectations.
  • Focus on selling additional proactive engagements across all Microsoft solution areas and advise customers on digital transformation.
  • Explores and assesses the needs of strategic/high-potential customers and ensures alignment with the account strategy and plan.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, partners, and services to lead the proposal or development of solutions that align with customer and Microsoft priorities.
  • Drives consumption and grow business with existing strategic customers by initiating conversations and the collaboration with partners or internal teams.
  • Develops strategies for driving and closing strategic and/or prioritized opportunities.
  • Leads the sales orchestration and deal execution with internal stakeholders across the organization.
  • Applies a holistic approach to build network across territories. Positions opportunities to promote collaboration and participation.
