Summary
For the Area “Spectrum Dominance Solutions Engineering” we are looking for a “System Engineer for Ground Based Electronic Warfare (f/m/d)” at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Spectrum Dominance Solutions Engineering” Area develops customer solutions in the field of electronic reconnaissance and electronic countermeasures for land-, sea- and air-based systems and is responsible for conception, implementation, integration and acceptance. Furthermore, we are involved in national as well as European committees and customer working groups and represent the industry side there in order to conceptualize future system solutions and define development roadmaps in the area of “Electronic Warfare”.

Your Tasks

  • Development of future-proof and competitive ground support systems for reconnaissance and jamming of radars and communications
  • Analysis and definition of requirements at system level
  • Creation of architectures and technical concepts for complex distributed systems
  • Definition of interfaces to other systems and software
  • Carrying out integration, acceptance tests and qualification
  • Collaboration on studies for future mission planning systems and the connection to cloud solutions

Your Profile

  • Degree in computer science, communications engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or similar
  • Several years of practical experience in the field of electronic warfare, radar or communication
  • Experience in dealing with agile methods and processes in software development
  • Knowledge of systems engineering and system modeling
  • Analytical-conceptual skills and a systematic way of working
  • Business fluent German and very good English skills
