Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineering Team Lead to oversee our engineering team’s migration of services to the OpenShift platform and make our infrastructure cloud-agnostic.
The ideal candidate will lead the team in automating processes, improving our platform, and managing application support and incidents. This role is pivotal in ensuring internal and external customers can seamlessly consume traditional desktop applications and services from a cloud environment.

REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer with a Development background
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Solid scripting experience in Python and PowerShell
- In-depth knowledge of GCP and Azure
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and container technologies
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure logs
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or related technologies
Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor the engineering team
- Lead automation and platform improvement initiatives
- Prioritize tasks and manage team workload
- Provide application support
- Oversee incident management
- Generate and analyze reports
- Drive the migration of services to the OpenShift platform
- Ensure the infrastructure is Cloud agnostic
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
