Description:

Talent Acquisition management

  • Develop and implement a TA strategy for Africa focused on ensuring efficient attraction of talent and alignment with global best practices.
  • Mapping out and reviewing the TA processes to support business and operational excellence.
  • Management of the headcount budget and strategic filling of positions to meet BBBEE requirements and in line with the company Employment Equity targets.
  • Managing critical recruiting programs and overseeing contracts with Suppliers of Labour Hire Service Providers on SLA Term-contracting.
  • Policy and procedure (including process and systems) monitoring and compliance.
  • Policy writing and review to ensure alignment with applicable legislation.
  • To manage compliance with talent acquisition policies and procedures by monitoring adherence to requirements, identifying gaps and implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures by applying good industry practices.
  • Continuous development of the recruitment system technical supervision and delivery
  • To manage the workforce headcount to optimize business efficiency by understanding the organizational objectives, confirming the functional requirements of the business, formulating and updating role profiles, managing approved versus vacant positions, developing and implementing recruitment policies, managing compliance with regulations (EEA and LRA) and sourcing and recruiting senior management and critical skills through headhunting and talent pipeline management as required.
  • To manage labour hire suppliers and contracts by defining clear and measurable metrics for services delivery, establishing regular communication channels, reviewing, negotiating and implementing service level agreement terms and contracts, addressing issues or bottlenecks, identifying causes and implementing corrective actions as required
  • To manage Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) implementation and utilization by monitoring and exploring emerging trends and advancements in HRIS technology, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline and automate, collaborating with digitization/automation stakeholders, implementing and training employees on innovations, analysing systems and data and building business cases to motivate for additional services, processes or opportunities as required Budget monitoring and compliance
  • Effective management of the TA budget
  • Manage TA expenditure by tracking spend against budget, reviewing and approving costs, identifying areas of under- or over-spend and implementing corrective SHE monitoring and compliance.
  • To manage SHE training, ensure implementation is completed and noncompliance is addressed as required.
  • Monitoring requirements and standards, managing completion of monitoring and managing that issues are resolved within deadlines.
  • To manage SHE requirements compliance with by managing review of SHE practices, identifying noncompliance and addressing within deadlines. Stakeholder engagement (including internal, external, client and service provider)
  • Manage stakeholder relationships by liaising with key internal and external stakeholders and collaborating as required.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders by identifying key points of impact and discussion, representing the organization and providing input into industry related initiatives and addressing any industry related concerns or challenges.
  • Manage service providers by defining and negotiating SLA’s, monitoring, and managing delivery against standards.
  • People management
  • Resource planning for the TA team to ensure full capacity.
  • Improve the team’s engagement and climate level.

Qualifications and experience requirements/Required qualifications.

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree or BTech in HR or Behavioural Sciences or equivalent Required technical or professional experience
  • 5 to 8 years corporate talent acquisition experience
  • 5 years agency recruitment and headhunting experience
  • 5 years SAP PSD experience
  • Applicating Tracking System (ATS) experience. Preferred technical or professional experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in the mining/explosive’s environment Required people management experience.
  • 2 years people management experience
