This posting is for one unionized contractual appointment. A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:
Required Duties:
Help grade assignments, essays, and exams;
Meet with students to assist with project design + completion;
facilitate small group discussions.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, physical and health education, or equivalent;
• Background in the humanities (history, sociology, anthropology) also desirable;
• Strong writing and oral communication skills;
• Attention to detail & accuracy;
