REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, particularly in the financial services, banking, or fintech sectors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for different audiences.
• Proven experience in documenting technology and system architecture, ideally within financial or risk management environments.
• In-depth knowledge of credit risk systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Master’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Technical Writer to support our client by creating and maintaining high-quality documentation for financial and credit risk systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure complex technical information is clearly communicated and meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and regularly update technical architecture documents, system design specifications, and other functional documentation.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, product managers, and credit risk experts to gather technical details and ensure accurate documentation.
• Ensure all documentation complies with relevant industry regulations, internal policies, and financial services standards.
• Translate complex technical jargon into clear, user-friendly documents for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proofread, edit, and enhance existing documents for clarity, consistency, and adherence to industry standards.

  You are an experienced technical writer with a background in financial services, banking, or fintech. You have a strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation. You’re comfortable working with diverse teams, have a solid understanding of credit risk systems, and are adept at managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
