As a Technology consultant you will Analyse complex problems associated with Manhattan solutions that are born in the cloud and built on microservices architecture. Provide technical support and expertise all-throughout the lifecycle of the supply chain software implementation. Perform software development for our product throughout the project life cycle including design, creation of technical design specs, software development, testing, issues analysis and resolution, and implementation/post implementation support. You will also have an opportunity to directly work with our customers to understand and gather their business requirements and actively participate in technical design workshops to implement them.

To achieve all of these, you will be supported by our collaborative Manhattan teams located in Europe, the Americas and India. As a part of project implementation, you may be required to travel to customer site/office and perform your duties.
This is an individual contributor role.
Here’s few things that we see as critical for someone to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or equivalent through business experience.
- You will have good reading, writing, and conversational fluency in English. Other European languages would be an advantage
- Technical background and ability to dive into issues and details by traversing through logs, errors and source code
- Knowledge in scripting and programming languages ( Python, Java and Shell scripting are essential, and basic understanding of SQL and Java recommended)
- Good understanding of networking, security, and protocols (HTTPS, SSH, TLS etc.)
- Good understanding of enterprise system integration (REST, SOAP, JMS, Pub/Sub and similar)
- Good Linux knowledge and hand-on experience working in UNIX environments
- Good demonstrable skills in Docker and micro services
- Exposure with working along DevOPS teams
- Experience or exposure in understanding technical requirements of cloud based solutions and their connectivity to customer networks
- Proven ability in working on technical implementations of enterprise SaaS applications, as well as supporting such applications using monitoring tools like Kibana, Elastic Search.
- Experience or exposure in technical design of extensions to micro services
Good understanding of path-to-live processes in a DevOPS operation
Google Cloud certification / experience is preferred
