We are looking for you as Test & Commissioning Engineer / Railway Infrastructure (f/w/d) for our location in Braunschweig as soon as possible. This position can be filled on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AT ALSTOM - THIS IS WHAT YOU MOVE WITH US

In our modern office at ARTmax in Braunschweig, over 250 colleagues from 26 countries work on research and development for the digitalization of the railways.
In this role, you will work for the “Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS)” division for the sales region Germany/Austria/Switzerland (D-A-CH). In the growth market of digital control and safety technology (digital LST), you will be in continuous exchange and dialogue with colleagues, contractors and decision-makers in order to significantly advance the implementation of the current digital interlockings (DSTW) and the European Train Control System (ETCS).

YOUR TASKS, AMONG OTHERS:

  • Support in the management of construction activities control & safety technology. Close coordination with the Alstom site manager.
  • Responsibility for the planning and realization of smooth commissioning, test phase, shutdown and start-up of the control and safety technology for assigned projects
  • For more complex technical issues, independent collaboration ("hands on") on the construction site at the Alstom signal boxes
  • Carrying out technical and operational clarifications with customers, subcontractors and internal departments
  • Contributing to the topic of EHS (accident prevention and environmental protection) on the construction site
  • Participation in the creation of a construction schedule
  • Contributing to measures for continuous improvement
  • Contributing to the development of sustainable customer satisfaction
  • Occasional participation in on-call duty.
