We are searching for the best talent for Trade Operations Specialist to be in Mexico City.
Purpose:
The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze and optimize international trade operations processes: transportation and customs, through the implementation of digital technologies and automation solutions. The Trade Operations Specialist will work closely with the local operations teams across Latam to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies for digitalization, and implement effective automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international trade processes, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in digitalization and process automation.
You will be responsible for:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current transportation and trade operations processes, identifying areas for digitalization and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Trade Operations Strategic and Capabilities department to develop strategies for implementing digital technologies and automation solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate software platforms or tools to support digitalization and automation initiatives
- Provides subject matter expertise in the technical aspects of transportation solutions and develops new ideas for continuous improvement.
- Lead the implementation and integration of digital solutions, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Generate and maintain regional trade operations metrics, dashboards and communications integrating automation and digital solutions.
- Develop and update documentation and standard operating procedures for digitalized and automated trade processes. Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of digital tools and automation systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in digitalization and automation within the international trade industry.
- Flexibility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and Trade Operations local teams to support operational processes transportations and customs activities when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or last year of studies on International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an International Trade Analyst or in a similar role, specifically focused on digitalization and automation.
- Strong understanding of international trade processes, regulations, and documentation requirements
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify optimization opportunities and propose effective digitalization and automation strategies.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and technologies to optimize trade processes, such as trade management systems, data analytics tools, and process automation platforms.
- Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and trends in automation, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
