Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring existing relationships are renewed and long-term customer relationships are maintained, effectively generating an overall sales growth by retention, cross-sales and referrals.
  • From handling day to day enquires, renewal preparation, cross-selling through to negotiating new policies to existing clients as their businesses change & grow, asking for referrals and working with our service and claims advisers to ensure a smooth customer journey and taking payments, the role provides you with incredible variety with the opportunity to understand how all areas of the business work.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work compliantly with attention to detail in a regulated environment.
  • You will have a structured induction and training programme with high levels of support from the team, so to have the desire and drive to develop as well as building on your natural strengths is a must.
  • Develop your knowledge, expertise and utilize the extensive training support and resources available both within the Agency and the wider NFU Mutual connections to develop an in-dept understanding of our sectors.

About you:

  • A person with real drive energy and enthusiasm.
  • A confident individual who can work well in a team, highly motivated with positive mentality and a good team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills & relationship building abilities with the ability to influence decision makers at all levels of business, can work well within a team environment but can also focus on their own and team targets.
  • Can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide fantastic customer experience.
  • Experience of and an understanding of insurance or financial services is preferable, but not essential.
  • Strong IT literacy.
  • Minimum of Grade C /Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & English.
  • Full driving licence and access to your own car for customer visits.
  • Experience of or an understanding of farming terminology preferable, but not essential.
