Description:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a major projects support role
  • Experience working on major projects from start to finish.
  • Works effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings, and other construction documents
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and experience with SharePoint is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize workload and stay on top of things as the project demands increase
  • Client service and focus to establish and maintain effective relationships with Client
  • Self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and be challenged
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office and SharePoint
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • The desire to work in a strong team environment to achieve organizational goals, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated and perform well in high-pressure environments
  • Working Knowledge of quality control documents and drawings, (isometrics and P&IDs) is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of Isometrics, P&ID’s, Fabrication spool sheets
  • Progressively compile turnover documentation and prepare binders to be shipped to owner/clients or third-party vendors
  • Assist the Quality team for the project turnover package including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, purchase orders, etc. Compile turnover documents from field information
  • Compile all turnover documentation including maintenance manuals and procedures
  • Compile turnover documents from field information
  • Ensure turnover is in accordance with company policies, standards and procedures
  • Liaise with Quality team to organize and maintain project files and documents while overseeing electronic document database and/or file sharing site
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate documents from the Quality team for the project turnover package including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, and purchase orders
  • Liaise with Quality Manager regarding contract and change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
  • Prepare and participate in meetings with the Quality Control team
  • Assist with providing final document turnover to client at completion of project
  • Correct deficiencies in a timely manner
  • Provide other technical office support as required by project team
