Description:
UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER- MCO ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Reporting to: Operations Manager/Security Supervisor.
Our unarmed Security Officers are responsible for day-to-day security screening of airport employees and other individuals passing through Screening Locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Florida Class-D Security License.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Florida state-issued Driver’s License or I.D. card.
- Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Must be able to pass a verifiable background check, including criminal employment, education, and personal references
- Must be able to pass pre-employment / annual / random drug screenings.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work and interact with the public.
- Must be able to work around the flexibility and changing schedules. This includes being available to work shifts throughout the day, afternoon, evening and overnight as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying dangerous objects and preventing those objects from being transported through screening locations.
- Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
- Use diverse, cutting-edge electronic detection and imaging equipment.
- Perform metal detection searches, pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines physical searches of property, and other identification review as needed.
- Additional security related duties to ensure safety to the traveling public.
