We’re looking for a talented UX/UI designer to join our experience design team in Zurich.
In this role, you’ll help us push the boundaries of design as we work to open the world through education. You’ll use your creativity to develop original concepts that make our websites beautiful and intuitive to use.
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that values collaboration and bases decisions on user insights to craft innovative solutions. If you love the idea of designing with a purpose and making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrable UX&UI design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing web design case studies with a focus on visually appealing designs to exemplify your process and decision making
- 5+ years of professional design experience at an agency, design firm or in-house creative team
- Excellent taste with a sense of emerging design trends and a passion for innovating them
- A strong attention to detail for pixel perfect handovers
- An ability to align design decisions with overall brand strategy and business goals
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and present ideas to stakeholders
- Solid experience and skills working with Figma understanding auto layout and smart component building for design system templates

Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to EF’s product sites using Figma to prototype
- Create user friendly digital experiences for every aspect of our websites
- Research and evaluate user requirements, as well as test prototypes to deliver great user experiences by providing exceptional, intuitive and user-centered design solutions
- Work closely with creative, tech and marketing to create functional and appealing concepts and prototypes, following business goals and objectives
- Effectively present your work and make it understandable for key stakeholders
- Work closely with other designers, project managers, leads and stakeholders following design thinking principles to create customer centric sites to grow our business
- Create clear technical handovers for developers
- Apply usability heuristics and UX design best practices to ensure a great user experience
