The SAP Export Control Team is a central function within the board area Global Finance and Administration. As an international economic operator, SAP must comply with export control and trade sanctions laws and regulations of various jurisdictions. SAP Export Control supports the company in analyzing and meeting related requirements and in dealing with customers, partners, authorities, and policy makers worldwide.

The student will provide day-to-day business support, team and project support. This includes:

• Perform business partner checks and sanctioned part list screening
• Perform (web) research on business partners
• Assist with master data maintenance, such as ECCNs, license materials, customer classification civil/military/nuclear
• Perform statistical analysis and prepare reports
• Apply AI and data-driven insights for future projects and process optimizations
• Create and update presentations and training material
• Support team meetings including outcome consolidation, perform follow-ups, perform surveys etc.
• Design and update information platforms (Wiki, SharePoints)

You will learn about and be involved in both daily tasks as well as strategic initiatives of the SAP Export Control team. You will learn about export control and trade sanctions topics, as well as many typical business processes of a large, multi-national company.
