Description:

WE HELP THE WORLD RUN BETTER

At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

Responsibilities:

You enjoy programming? You like to dive deep into challenging topics?
Then you will fit right in with our team!
SAP Cloud & Lifecycle Management (SAP CLM) is recognized as one of the most essential topics for SAP’s product success and as key differentiator in the market.
We further invest in our Migration and Upgrade tools to reduce the effort for customers to move from on-premise to private cloud, we simplify the maintenance process for our operations colleagues, and we reduce the downtime for implementing new versions of our SAP software.
To strengthen the development team for the Software Update Manager (SUM), we are looking for a graduate (f/m/d) who enjoys working together with new and experienced colleagues in the team – working for SAP between 1 and 25 years! We will support you throughout your onboarding and learning journey. It is important to us to make sure you understand our products and processes.

Your tasks will include mainly:

  • To learn the SAP programming language ABAP and to develop new features for the upgrade procedure.
  • To simplify and automate our processes, and to implement downtime reduction measures to enable smooth upgrades.
  • To unpack your detective skills by investigating and analyzing complex problems, and resolving critical issues for our diverse customers, spanning from OS, Network, and Database to the Application Layer.
  • To check for improvement possibilities in discussion with our product owner and architects.
  • To work in an agile team using scrum methodology.
