ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, you will manage a diverse litigation portfolio with a primary focus on Landlord and Tenant Board files, while also handling matters in Small Claims Court. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a professional, supportive environment with access to training and mentoring to help you sharpen your advocacy, research, and client management skills.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Represent clients at the Landlord and Tenant *Board and other Tribunals from start to finish, including case preparation, document drafting, and oral advocacy.
*Manage and Represent Small Claims, POA and WSIB matters, including pleadings, motions, hearings, and negotiations.
*Conduct legal research to develop strong case strategies and stay on top of legislative and procedural changes.
*Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed and engaged throughout their matters.
*Work independently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without constant supervision.
*Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and contribute to firm growth.
