We’re seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Operations Support Specialist to join our team and help ensure the smooth and efficient movement of freight across domestic markets. This is a newly created position with the potential for leadership opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using load boards for coordinating shipments or logistics
• Proven experience in truckload ground transportation, especially in operations.
• Familiarity with digital freight forwarder platforms and freight brokerage processes.
• Strong communication skills with a knack for relationship-building.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Self-starter with multitasking abilities and a professional yet entrepreneurial mindset.

• Handle cradle-to-grave truckload logistics operations, including carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, shipment scheduling, and real-time tracking.
• Make informed and profitable business decisions to meet operational goals.
• Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels, from C-suite executives to front-line staff.
• Manage and grow vendor relationships with carrier partners.
• Utilize digital freight platforms to streamline processes.
• Provide internal customers with accurate trucking rate quotes.
• Cover freight, dispatch drivers, negotiate rates, track shipments, and deliver exceptional customer service.
