PRINCIPALES TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS : • Procéder au nettoyage et au lavage du matériel ferroviaire, des voitures de passagers, des pièces et des équipements en atelier. • Conduire des locomotives, des véhicules d’entretien et des chariots élévateurs, manipuler des commandes d’aiguillage et procéder au ravitaillement en carburant, aux travaux de sablage et à l’arrosage des locomotives. • S’adapter aux nouveaux processus, matériaux et équipements, de même qu’aux nouvelles méthodes. • Se conformer aux normes de sécurité établies, y compris en ce qui touche l’utilisation de vêtements de protection et d’équipements de sécurité. • Peut être appelé(e) à travailler lors de divers quarts de travail et la fin de semaine, de même qu’à l’extérieur par mauvais temps. • Effectuer toute autre tâche attribuée. EXIGENCES : • Diplôme d’études secondaires de l’Ontario (DESO) [12e année] ou certificat d’équivalence d’études secondaires. • Capacité de réussir l’examen de préposé ou préposée à l’entretien de moteurs de locomotives. • Bonnes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication (de vive voix et par écrit). • Excellentes habiletés en matière d’organisation et de planification. • Capacité manifeste de travailler en équipe • Doit être disponible pour travailler par quarts. • Détenir un permis de conduire valide est considéré comme un atout. • De l’expérience dans le domaine du nettoyage et des services de main-d’œuvre est un atout. • De l’expérience dans le domaine ferroviaire est un atout. • Doit s’engager à respecter les normes de la Commission en matière de santé et de sécurité au travail.
