Description

Under the authority of the Production Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the reception and shipment of parts, taking into account the related documentation.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities

Scan the serial numbers of each part being shipped or received
Ensure the correct parts are received or shipped
Receive merchandise and verify quantity and condition according to the delivery slip (in case of discrepancies or damage, notify the person responsible for claims)
Enter receiving and shipping information into the NAV system
Handle shipments via courier or freight
Complete customs forms
Inventory: pick and place materials for shipping or manufacturing, keep inventory organized according to locations, participate in the annual inventory count
Maintain order in the shipping/receiving department
Perform any other related duties
Education
High school diploma
Forklift operator certificate
Experience and Knowledge
1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
