We are looking to recruit a Project Manager and Marketing Assistant who will work closely with the rest of the Same but Different team and external stakeholders to deliver existing project commitments. You will have a passion for creativity whilst also being organised and able to pay attention to detail (something that does not always go hand in hand).
Same but Different are a not for profit organisation that use the arts (photography, film and written narratives) to give people a stronger voice in their community. We work primarily with those affected by rare disease and disability and therfore an understanding of this community is important.
The work will be varied and may involve travel within the UK and abroad. A willingness to work on a range of projects whilst supporting the creative director requires the ability to juggle priorities and have good organisational skills.
You will be a confident communicator and be well versed with the Adobe Suite of software programmes, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom.
Working within a small dynamic team within our studio in Mold, North Wales, you will be a friendly team player who enjoys the variety and flexibility required within a creative environment of a small organisation.
There is an element of liaising with external organisations and project participants and you will need a mature outlook to cope with some of the subject matter.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the business longer term and enjoys the challenges of a variable workload.
Able to contribute ideas and enjoying bringing something to the party are pre-requisites for this varied role. Articulate, numerate, methodical and reliable you will enjoy sharing knowledge and the challenges of creating projects that really do make a difference.
Salary is between £27,000 - £28,000 pro rata depending upon experience.
