NH Maldives Kuda Rah employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: Greeting guests warmly and present menus. Take accurate food and beverage orders. Stay attentive to guest needs throughout their dining experience. Ensure orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar. Check that dishes are prepared correctly and presented well before serving. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards. Set up tables before service, including cutlery, glassware and condiments. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area during and after service. Explain daily specials, promotions and menu items when required. Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and revenue. Handle guest feedback or complaints politely and inform the supervisor when needed. Process bills, handle payments and ensure accuracy in POS transactions. Assist with room service when assigned. Support buffet setup, replenishment and clearing. Note and communicate guest allergies or dietary requirements to the kitchen. Complete all opening, closing and side duties as per standards. Report any breakages, maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Support fellow team members during peak periods to ensure smooth operations. Participate in pre-shift briefings and training sessions. Maintain grooming, uniform and professional conduct in line with hotel standards. When assigned, take shift leader responsibilities such as allocating tables and guiding junior staff.
