You will represent our organization by; interacting with guests shopping, donors dropping off merchandise, and volunteers in our retail store. Responsibilities: Participate in safety training programs, identify, and report any potential hazards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our safety culture. Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale system, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments efficiently. Educate guests about Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City’s mission and programs, encourage donations and participation in volunteer opportunities. Create a positive guest experience and address guest concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner. Assist with receiving, organizing, and restocking inventory on the sales floor, ensure shelves are neat, clean, product priced, and well-maintained.
