Job Title: Auto Electrical Improver (Junior / Trainee Level)
Jetchem Systems Limited and Superjet are market leaders in the High-Pressure Water Jetting Industry. We cover everything from administration, engineering, parts, training, hire, service and sales and are dedicated in providing an impressive range of quality products, which is an A - Z of what is required within the drainage industry.
Due to our continued success and growth, we are looking for an Automotive/Electrical Improver at our Ramsbottom depot.
The successful applicant will be working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. You may also be required to work overtime on an ad-hoc basis
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Some electrical knowledge or previous experience preferred (college, apprenticeship, or hands-on work).
· Ability to read and follow instructions and drawings.
· Good problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.
· Basic understanding of health & safety in the workplace.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Automotive/Electrical Improver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has some basic electrical experience or training and is looking to build their skills further while working on a variety of projects. You’ll be assisting qualified electricians, learning on the job, and developing into a fully competent electrical professional.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with preassemblies, installation, maintenance, and repair of Automotive and plant electrical systems.
· Support testing and fault finding
· Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept tidy and safe.
· Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
· Take initiative to learn and develop practical and technical skills.
