Report to physician the condition of residents, take off orders, documents, and follow-up orders to their conclusion. Document pertinent information on all assigned residents. Arrange for transfer of residents to hospitals or clinics. Maintain records of all controlled drugs and keep inventory count at the beginning and end of each shift. Check residents' comfort, follow-up as necessary, answer call bell as required. Collect tests and report specimens as necessary. Perform other nursing duties as required. Responsible for knowing and following resident’s plan of care for assigned residents. Responsible to report any employees not following plan of care. Perform other related duties as required by their manager. srhpp Qualifications Currently licensed and registered to practice as a practical nurse in New York State. Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Must be interested in gaining knowledge of new procedures and methods through seminars and in-services.
