Summary Surgical Services is a 10 bed room unit. The OR and PACU provide care 24 hours a day, with on-call personnel from 3:30PM to 7:00AM, and weekends for patients of all ages who require emergency and elective surgical procedures. Performs care requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical and social sciences in the application of the nursing process. Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards. Job Description: RN-Surgery Outpatient-Full-Time Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
