SUPPORT WORKER | DAYS | AUTISM | DIABETES | FEMALE | £13PH

We are looking to expand our current team supporting a female adult diagnosed with downs syndrome and Type 1 diabetes. Our client has her own home with a 24/7 care package in place and a busy social calendar enjoying a variety of different activities so the ideal candidate will enjoy being active and getting involved. Support required to promote independence when carrying out daily activities, teaching life skills and accessing the community safely whilst monitoring blood sugars throughout the day.
Full training in Type 1 Diabetes will be provided. Applicants must be confident, calm and focused, with a good sense of humour and the ability to build a rapport and enable our client to live a full and varied life. Full clean manual driving license required to drive our client’s mobility vehicle when accessing the community and out for lunches.

SUNDAY: 09.00 - 14.00

Ideally looking for candidates to fit into the current team working days/ nights can be considered for the right candidate once Diabetes training is complete.
(You will be integrated into an established team, we can provide hours from 6-40+ hours per week, you will be required to work a minimum of two weekends a month)
