Are you an experienced production professional with a strong background in manufacturing leadership? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager to join a well-established optical laboratory based in Dyce. This role is key to ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production operations, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing, the Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the lab, coordinating production schedules, managing a team of Technicians and Supervisors, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar production management role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methods.
• Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) would be advantageous.
