We are seeking Swiss CNC Machinist to join our TEAM !
Essential Duties:
Set-Up and operate Swiss CNC Machines, specifically L20’s
Ensure all components produced meet specifications by using appropriate measuring equipment, such as Micrometers, Vernier, Height Gages, Bore Gages, Comparators, Vision Systems, etc.
Reads process sheets, blue prints and sketches of parts to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up and operating requirements.
Inserts programs utilizing DNC System to load programs into control unit.
Observes numerical displays on control panel and compares data on process sheet to verify dimensional adjustments, feed rates, and speeds of machining cuts.
Inspect first run piece and spot check succeeding pieces for conformance specifications.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or the ability required.
~ Experience: 2 years machining experience
~ Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
~ Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
~ Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems using common sense approach.
Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
Attention to detail and ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
~ Decision Making: Makes decisions reflecting knowledge of facts, technical expertise and care for employees, customers and or the work place. Evaluates potential risks.
Utilizes sound judgement in critical thinking and problem solving.
Able to provide rationale for decisions, through both written and verbal communication.
