Overview The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance and construction work relating to propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems at company locations as directed. This technician will assist in attaining assigned goals for safety, installations, and training. Assuring safety standards are met which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines is of the utmost importance for this position. Responsibilities Provide prompt and efficient maintenance and construction work relating to company owned equipment and systems Work as part of a crew during construction or installation of any petroleum, propane, or associated equipment at company locations Conduct maintenance and construction work as scheduled by the maintenance administrators Clean and maintain equipment assigned to position Perform work in a safe manner at all times according to company safety procedures Provide home office with required information and records on a timely basis Inspect all equipment to assure safe, dependable operations Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system and equipment issues as assigned Maintain inventory of parts and equipment Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as directed Perform after-hours emergency service as necessary Maintain inventory of non-fuel related parts and equipment Ensure all site-specific documentation is accurately completed Maintain accurate and complete records of all fixed assets assigned to the plant, including loaned customer equipment Identify and timely communicate to the supervisor and other managers as appropriate, issues related to truck and equipment safety and efficiency, customer needs and inquiries, training needs and other necessary changes and/or issues Operate vehicle safely, according to policies and guidelines set forth by law or by MFA Oil Company Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any truck safety issues immediately to supervisor, as well as maintaining truck in a neat and clean condition Develop and maintain current knowledge of all products and services offered by MFA Oil Company Present a positive image of MFA Oil Company to the community Support and understand company policies and procedures and communicate those to customers as needed Follow posted work schedule and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked All MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures.
