We are looking for a Power Engineer to join our Power Production team. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for all aspects of the safe and cost-efficient operation of the high-pressure boilers and steam turbine generators and all associated auxiliary equipment.
Key elements of this role include::

• A 2nd Class Power Engineer Certificate and a minimum of three (3) years experience as a Power Engineer in a generating station or industry with similar processes are required.
• You will be required to demonstrate acceptable color vision for operation of control monitoring equipment.
• You have proven problem resolution skills and the flexibility and ability to adapt to rescheduled assignments.
• You must be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong computer aptitude and the ability to deal with multiple tasks and demands.
• If no qualified candidates apply, applicants who possess a 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate will be considered as Power Engineer Apprentices.
• As a registered apprentice, you will be responsible to complete all papers and skills required to successfully obtain your 2nd Class Power Engineer Certificate within a specific time frame
