Job Description The Business Development Representative will provide key outbound prospecting, sales support, and lead development for Ultimo. The candidate must know about Enterprise Asset Management Applications related to targeted prospects and customer needs and exhibit the knowledge and confidence needed. Key responsibilities Use various channels, such as calling, email, and social media, to engage prospects and qualify them as valid sales opportunities. Given the research and understanding of the prospect and Ultimo, engage in conversations of value. Develop cold accounts into warm and targeted accounts through various efforts to provide value while aggressively targeting accounts within specific industries that Ultimo has identified. Regularly communicate with sales representatives to review assigned accounts and make necessary adjustments. Work alongside Account Executives to set meetings and penetrate targeted accounts. Maintain relationships with an assigned group of target accounts and develop value in working with Ultimo. Understand the functional competitive advantages of the Ultimo solution set and customize messaging to gain traction in accounts. Work through ‘Gatekeepers’ to gain access to the relevant person/s in the prospective organization hierarchy while understanding where the decision makers are located. Work with pre-sales and marketing teams to develop the territory and identify high quality opportunities. Help Marketing implement account-based marketing campaigns based on account plans built in conjunction with sales, pre-sales, and marketing. Keep accurate electronic records of calls and contacts and update prospect status within the contact management application. Qualifications Candidates based in Boston, MA (or east coast preferred). A minimum of 1+ years of proven software telemarketing, business development, inside sales, or software sales experience.
