You should have a PhD in a subject relevant to this post or have a relevant master’s qualification with significant professional practice. We are looking for candidates with teaching experience across physiology with significant experience of respiratory science. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of devising and delivering teaching related to physiology. Experience of supervising final year research projects in physiology and experience of module and programme development would be an advantage.
We are looking for candidates who align to the UWE values. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate their experience of leading and motivating groups of people, collegiate working and their organisational skills. You will be expected to demonstrate how they will keep abreast of latest developments in this subject area and external best practice benchmarks.
The successful candidate will be supported in this role by an experienced senior lecturer as a mentor. The school provides staff development funds to support personal and subject related training for academic staff.
