WHAT’S THE ROLE?

This Application Developer will work with leaders and experts on teams throughout the organization together & specify needs and develop solutions aimed at enhancing customer engagement and employee productivity. The position is responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. The applications developed by this position will work to:
1. Enable team member by automating processes to improve productivity and reduce errors from
manual repeatable tasks.
2. Web based application to access data and manage workflow of subsequent actions.
3. Deliver Marketing and Legal approved content to team members and customers.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

• Design and create technical solutions in various systems to achieve results across the core Hilti process areas (Market Reach, Logistics, Finance, H/R) in support of process excellence
• Web applications development (C# & JavaScript experience required. Nice to have: VBScript, Angular, .NET, SQL server, etc.) to address process gaps
• Stay up to date on innovation in design processes and technologies
• Apply solid understanding of business models to focus on process improvements, failure analysis, and identification of productivity gain opportunities
• Utilize SAP / Business Intelligence (BI) system & reporting tools to analyze gaps and process improvements
• Must be able to partner cross-functionally with team members in various departments and function in a strong team environment within Market Reach
• Conduct analysis, partnering with functions to quantify opportunities / results, and then create reports utilizing solutions like: Power-BI, Data Lake, and Business Intelligence (BI)
• Must be able to design reports, tables, and queries to enable assessment and results tracking as well as continue to support existing technical tools
