JOB SUMMARY:

We are hiring a Junior Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and modernization of enterprise web applications, working closely with the HQ software architect for intensive on-the-job training. This role will gain experience in modern web technologies, application performance monitoring, and DevOps practices while contributing to global and regional initiatives for digital platform modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and Maintenance:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications for Dot.com and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Support legacy web app modernization efforts under mentorship.
  • Knowledge Transfer and Training:
  • Work closely with the HQ architect to understand existing architecture and global standards.
  • Actively participate in mentorship sessions, knowledge-sharing meetings, and technical workshops.
  • Integration and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with local and HQ teams to implement global Consumer Channel Integration (CCI) initiatives.
  • Assist in database table design, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • DevOps and CI/CD Support:
  • Gain hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms for application deployment and monitoring.
  • Performance Monitoring and Security:
  • Learn and implement application performance monitoring using AppDynamics, AWS CloudWatch, and Site24x7.
  • Adhere to web security standards under guidance from the HQ architect.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
