Join us as a Senior Financial Data Analyst – Commissions!
As a Senior Financial Data Analyst supporting our Commissions FP&A team, you will not only handle typical FP&A functions but have the opportunity to challenge yourself in a variety of areas including finance, data, and commissions.

• Compiling and analyzing commissions financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Developing and maintaining processes and models to track key business metrics.
• Analysis and interpretation of large dataset.
• Evaluating and understanding Commissions plan structure and business impact.
• Communication of results and recommendations to all levels of business partners.
• Contribute to the enhancement of procedures and business practices that improve efficiency within the organizational function.
• Developing and maintaining integrated financial statement and forecasts.
• Helping business partners understand and analyze the financial impact of commission-related decisions.

Analysts on the commissions team are also responsible for the following:

• Evaluating and implementing Commissions models and strategies to ensure they
• continue to align to business metrics.
• Process improvement and automation.
• Supporting sales and operations in commissions education, interpretation, and deal construction
• Maintaining commissions forecasting and accrual models as well as developing expertise in sales compensation planning.
• Understanding of core finance business processes to ensure timely delivery of financial results including Quarterly Business Reviews, close processes, SOX controls, and Audit.
• Understanding of BMC business drivers and financials.

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance role, preferably within an enterprise software company. Commissions experience highly preferred.
• You have strong data analysis skills with experience managing large data sets, as well as experience building reports/models from scratch.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Working knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practice.Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
  The range listed is just one component of BMC’s employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
  At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,850 - $144,75
