Art+Logic is looking for developers to collaborate with us on interesting, custom software projects. We’ve been a fully remote company since day one—more than 30 years ago.

REMOTE-FIRST AND HUMAN-FIRST

We’re remote-only and remote-native. We trust you to manage your own time and schedule your deep work. We also value work/life balance—our project planning and expectations are realistic, and we never expect more than 40 hours a week.
We are looking for long-term contractors (1099 or company-to-company), generally available 30–40 hours per week with some overlap to U.S. time zones for communication.
Pay range: $30–$40 USD/hour
Location: Worldwide, with U.S. timezone overlap
Start date: Flexible

HOW WE HIRE

We believe in evaluating real skills, not résumés. Every applicant is invited to complete a small programming challenge that simulates the kind of work we do.
This challenge is asynchronous, so you can complete it when you’re ready, within 2 weeks of applying. There’s no whiteboarding, no interviews until you’ve had a chance to show us what you can really do.

Our process is ongoing and flexible—we’re always looking for great people, even if we don’t have an immediate opening. If you pass the challenge and match our culture and standards, we’ll actively look for an opportunity to start working with you.
