Responsibilities

In this position as the Salesforce Lead Development/Administrator your primary duties will be:

  • Create and maintain Salesforce configuration changes, including Flows, custom fields, page layouts, record types, and custom settings.
  • Manage and maintain sandbox environments for development and testing.
  • Promote and deploy code across multiple environments using established DevOps practices.
  • Identify and gather business and technical requirements; translate them into best-practice, scalable Salesforce solutions focused on excellent user experience.
  • Evaluate and recommend platform features; identify unused or underutilized functionality.
  • Implement and advocate for security best practices in application development.
  • Develop and maintain a Salesforce platform roadmap in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Conduct proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Checks, and Optimizer assessments.
  • Apply DevOps and release management best practices to ensure smooth deployment cycles.
  • Participate in and lead requirements gathering, solution design, and development efforts.
  • Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure robust and maintainable code.
  • Provide production support and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead focused technical discussions and mentor junior developers.
  • Create, review, and maintain technical documentation, including system design and support guides.
  • Collaborate effectively with various IT teams and business stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
