JOB INTRODUCTION:

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team and support our school’s food programme. Our mission is to create fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals using seasonal and local ingredients, ensuring that our children stay energized and ready to learn throughout the day.

As a Catering Assistant, you will:

• Set up and clean the dining area before and after meal service.
• Assist in preparing basic salads and fruit.
• Help with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining room.
• Always follow health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and stock of the salad bar.
• Support general cleaning of food areas.
• Receive and check food deliveries, keeping accurate records.
• Help minimise food waste.
• Maintain strict HACCP records.
