We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Assisting in course planning, development, coordination and delivery (including classroom teaching), and where necessary, programme administration in Economics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; Establishing proactive liaison with tertiary education institutions and other relevant stakeholders; and Participating in School/University activities and administration. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate in Economics with relevant teaching/professional experience in higher education institutions; A strong knowledge and research potential in all areas of economics; Prior knowledge about the Hong Kong education sector and willingness to travel to secondary schools and higher education institutions for programme promotion and student recruitment; Good academic and professional network for promotion of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; and An excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua) with good interpersonal skills.
