JOB PURPOSE: The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons, oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies, and collect money for drinks served. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive orders from patrons or waitstaff. Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered. Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar. Maintain bar spaces and keep them clean and organized. Attractively display glasses, liquor, and other bar items so its pleasing for guests to look at. Collect payments from guest for drinks prepared and served. Ensure that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo ID’s. Utilize proper judgment and discretion, when necessary, refuse service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive. All Other Duties as Assigned Requirements QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service.
