As a Residential Youth Care Specialist you will be expected to provide care, supervision, structure, and to be an advocate that provides and builds a therapeutic relationship with the youth in your care. A typical day as a Residential Youth Care Specialist day-to-day care of youth while in residence (including fun!), working with clients from 10-17 years old, males or females who are highly acute and potentially aggressive, supporting treatment process of each youth, and completing other tasks as assigned by your Supervisor. As a Residential Youth Care Specialist, you will work the below rotating schedule: 2nd Shift: 7pm-7am Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday This position requires mandatory attendance at a 4-day, 9am-5pm Therapeutic Crises Intervention training program prior to engaging with clients.
